Welcome to the Web Site of the
Saguaro Camera Club
Serving Photographers in the Greater
Phoenix, Arizona Area

The Saguaro Camera Club was originally organized as a color slide club. In an effort to remain current, the club has adopted Digital Photography as its primary medium. Digital competitions are held monthly. The club also has programs each month.

The club meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, September through June. They do not meet in July and have only one meeting on the 2nd Thursday in August. The meetings are held in the community room of the Mesa Fire Station, 360 E First St, Mesa, AZ 85201. The fire station is located on the NW corner of Mesa Drive and First St. Meetings begin at 6:45 PM and last about two hours. On occasion it is necessary to change our meeting nights because the fire deptartment needs the community for their purposes. An up to date schedule is posted in another section of the web site under "Programs."

The Saguaro Camera club is closely affiliated with the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and is a member of the Arizona Camera Club Council (ACCC). For the past 54 Saguaro has sponsored the Saguaro International Nature Exhibition, a premier photo exhibition dr
awing images from around the world.

Our primary purpose is to help each other with our photographic efforts and to promote fellowship among our group. To that end we have field trips throughout the year, programs, and publish a newsletter, the Cactus Points.
